Erin Burge is a fine-artist and tattooer who has been creating custom work in Kelowna since 2007. In 2025 she opened Ember Studio in Kettle Valley: a calm, private space built for the kind of detailed, collaborative work a great tattoo deserves.
Every piece begins with your story and is drawn from scratch. No flash off a wall, no two clients alike. Whether it's a sweeping floral sleeve, a hyper-real portrait, or a beloved animal rendered in colour, the goal is the same: art you'll be proud to wear for life.

The Artist
The hands behind the work
Fine-arts trained and tattooing in Kelowna since 2007, Erin Burge is a painter as much as a tattooer. Her colour realism and black-and-grey work has a softness you only get from someone who truly draws.
Every piece is custom, drawn for one person and one body, with the time and care it deserves. No flash off a wall, no two clients alike.
Beyond the Needle
A painter's eye, on every piece
Erin holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from UBC Okanagan and paints in oils and mixed media, lately a series of west-coast seascapes. That gallery-trained sense of colour, light and composition is exactly what sets her tattoos apart.
When you bring Erin an idea, you're not picking from a binder. You're commissioning an original. It's the difference between a tattoo and a piece of art that happens to live on skin.
