Frequently asked questions
Do you require a deposit to book?
Yes. A non-refundable deposit secures your appointment and is applied toward the cost of your final session. It holds your spot and covers your custom design time.
How much does a custom tattoo cost?
Custom work is quoted per piece based on size, detail and placement. Larger pieces are booked at a day or hourly rate; smaller pieces may be a flat fee. You'll get a clear estimate at your free consultation, no surprises.
How do I book a consultation?
Fill out the form above or send us a DM on Instagram. Consultations are free and can be in person at Ember Studio in Kelowna, or virtual if you're travelling in from elsewhere in the Okanagan.
What's the minimum age?
You must be 19 or older with valid government-issued photo ID. We do not tattoo minors, even with parental consent.
Do you do cover-ups?
Yes, cover-ups and reworks are welcome. Send a clear, well-lit photo of the existing tattoo with your inquiry and we'll let you know what's possible.
What about aftercare and touch-ups?
You'll leave with full written aftercare instructions and we're always reachable with questions. Minor touch-ups on healed work are typically complimentary within a few months of your session.
